Random Number Generator
Result History
This random number generator picks a whole number between any minimum and maximum you choose. Type your range, click the button and you have your number.
How it works
Both the minimum and the maximum are included in the range, and every whole number in it is equally likely. For example, with a range of 1 to 10 each number from 1 through 10 has a 10% chance. You can use ranges as wide as you need, up to ten billion.
Common uses
- Raffles and giveaways: number your entries and pick the winning number.
- Games: guess-the-number games, tabletop games and party games.
- Classroom: picking a student number or a page for an exercise.
- Testing: quickly getting sample numbers.
For picking several unique numbers at once, such as for a lottery ticket, use the lottery number generator.
